Fix My Coffee never asks you to change five things at once. You change one, you see what it did, you go from there.
Log the brew
Pick the method, enter grinder clicks, coffee and water. The ratio works itself out. Add the roast date and you also get a freshness read: still degassing, in the sweet spot, or past it.
Rate the taste
Two sliders. Taste runs sour to bitter, body runs light to heavy. If you are unsure, the info button next to each explains what they mean.
Get one move
The recommendation is a sentence, not an essay: “For the next brew, grind finer and use more coffee.” Under it are the new numbers and the delta. If it lands, you save it as a recipe.
The log shows your tendency.
A single brew tells you nothing; ten brews do. The log reads them together — “six of your last ten ran sour, grind finer.” A brew that lands becomes a recipe you can repeat exactly.
Your data stays with you. Your brew log, recipes, taste profile and notes live on your phone only. They are never sent to a server.
